A1) Why do some of the product images not look real?


That's because most of them are not. As we design, manufacture and sell these products they all exist as 3D CAD models in Solidworks. For consistency we create 3D renders from the Solidworks models to show on our shop and in our catalogues. However, this has the downside of some images not looking perfect due to lighting, surface finishes and environments etc not being 100% realistic.

However the upside of using CAD files is that customers can request drawings or 2D or 3D CAD files (subject to letter of confidentiality being completed) at any time. See Technical Expertise for more details.

A2) Can I get real photos of products not renders?


Yes, just contact us you and we can email photos if required.

A3) Why are there only videos/animations of some products?


Just like the product images the videos are created using 3D CAD data in Solidworks Composer and they take lots of time to create. Our intention is to have videos for all the required products added during 2019. If a missing video/animation would help you now, please contact us and we can prioritise it.

A4) Why are there not use images for all the products?


Some products are straight forward and require no explanation. In other cases, use images can really help so we will endeavour to where required add use images in 2019. If a specific use image would help you now, please contact us and we can prioritise it.

A5) Can I search for part numbers or descriptions?


Yes, just type in search bar and watch the drop-down list that appears underneath it. Note that if searching for part numbers they must start with bcp or bcsp (where applicable).

A6) How can I get a copy of an invoice?


Please contact us and we will send a copy by email straight away.

A7) Is everything you manufacture and sell shown online?


No, we have customer specific and historic products that are not shown online and in catalogues etc. We also only show a fraction of the door gear configuration options that are physically possible to create to avoid confusion. If customer accounts are used online, they can allow customers to see their specific products in addition to the standard ones.

A8) How do I change or cancel an order?


Please contact us and we can change order quantities etc and if required cancel orders before despatch. If products have been despatched, please see our returns & exchanges page.

A9) Can I make requests/suggestions for additional products?


Yes, we can add other related products to our offering e.g. ISO container fittings where we show apx 19 items now but there are at least another 20 similar twistlocks and stacking fittings that we can supply if required. Please contact us for details.

10) Some of the site filters or sort options don't help me narrow down the products, can you change or add to them?


Yes, just contact us if any of the sites functionality isn't working properly or could be improved.
