Instructions for fitting of CAT 340/1G pivotal lashing ring
Weld pivotal ring sub-assembly (CAT340G) to trailer cross member. Weld must be totally around retainer dish.
Router hole in timber floor to suit pan (BCP10146). Fit rubber seal (BCP10149) over ring (CAT340G), then place pan over
ring and fit rubber seal into hole in pan. Screw pan (BCP10146) to timber floor. Place seal plates (BCP10237) around
ring, covering rubber seal and tack weld at 4 equal positions around outside diameter of seal plate.
The load bearing capabilities of the fixings to the vehicle/container/unit must be established by the manufacturer in accordance with the relevant standards e.g. BS EN 12640, BS ISO 27956, BS EN 29367-2, ISO 1496-2 & ISO 10855 etc.
