Use: Standard side/edge type door seal for smaller doors and access panels etc also known as "bubble" or "car door seal". Fitted onto flat bar or angle edges or plate edges for doors to form a seal against by compressing the bubble slightly (3-6mm recommended). Suitable for use in -10 to 60°C. Other types available on request, please contact us. To fit place the joint at the least critical point for leakage or accidental removal in use (on doors etc.). Start from one end or near the centre and press or gently hammer (rubber mallet) the seal onto the fitting edges and work your way round to the joint. Fully fit one end and then butt the other up to it (trim to length as required) and press the final part of the seal into position. There should be no gap at the joint after fitting.
