Use: For containers etc, parts supplied assembled ready to weld in place. Castle nut and split pin provide security but also allow for easy removal of doors for refurb or repair when required. Customs seal cables can be fitted instead or in addition to the split pin (extra hole required).
BCP19067 brass washers are fitted on the underside of hinges as a spacer to prevent wear, paint damage and corrosion in use. They also increase security by reducing/eliminating gaps between hinges and hinge brackets/butts which makes cutting of the hinge pins/bolts more difficult (if thieves attempt to cut through the washers instead, they can spin on the pin/bolt which again makes cutting more difficult).
